We are back on the BLIZZY aka blog aka written word. I took a little break during preseason this year, as I’ve noticed a bevy of new podcasters and content creators and recognize I won’t be getting famous anytime soon from talking about football into a camera in a dark room by myself, but I love football and I love talking about it, so here we are. Pregamedump is a weekly preview of the upcoming opponent and my oddly shaped mind’s personal take on what I can foresee happening. I’m not perfect, by any stretch, but I hope to provide answers to the weary Bills’ fan, or imagination to the overly secure fan, whichever you may be. Here at BLEUMAFIA I designed a space to do it.. my way..

Let’s talk J, E, T, S, S.T.F.U.

I already stated on the pod, I’m over hearing about Aaron Rodgers. He’s terrific at playing quarterback, but in all honesty I’ve never been a huge fan. I can admire his hippy stuff, his groovy vibe, and his spiral, but I’ve never truly respected him as a leader on the field. He always leaves me with a bad taste when I see how he communicates with such rancor and cold, “I know more than all of you” approach to barking signals. I genuinely feel his old frame, though it looks strong and able, will break down. Maybe not tonight, but eventually.

Jets D is Legit

I’ll be honest, I don’t see this being an EASY game per se. The Jets defense is legitimate, which is a large reason why Aaron Rodgers decided to go there. I wouldn’t be too excited to see a debut for the Bills much like the opening night rout of the Rams. I expect Buffalo to intend to demonstrate a new identity this year, R U N Game Run Game Run Game.

The question will be if the players can play the role in the new look Dorsey offense. He has done a good job if you ask me, considering the Bills lost 3 games last year, and one of which he had a full on meltdown. I think Dorsey with another year to work alone and with the team as the head honcho on offense provides a chance for the identity to continue to develop. I am excited the Jets are up first, because it’s a good challenge with all star caliber players at all 3 levels.

What’s Going to Happen?

It’s always hard to predict exactly what could happen, but I try.

I can see this one being friendly for the familiar, familial Bills. I think the value of experience plays a huge role in big time, big lights games, and I think this favors Buffalo. I wait until now to write these articles because it allows me to get an idea of the weather, think about what the players might be thinking about other games, etc. The Bills pressure was high leading up to this game, but if you ask me with big time AFC teams like Cincy and KC losing, along with LA, mixed with Jordan Love making it look easy for the Packers, the pressure is all on NY.

I think the Bills get up early, and they march down the field with new weapons. Jets struggle early, but some Josh Allen happens which gets them back in the game. The Bills D proves strong and finishes a gutsy Rodgers comeback with a big time play. Bills 34-24. #bookit.
