We are back bleu babes its week 3 and it’s the first old fashioned rainy football Sunday in Buffalo! Odd feelings of familiarity mixed with a Christmas-eve like vibe with hopes of dancing Stefon plums dance in the Mafia’s heads. Let’s get to business and break down the Dolphins.

Mcdanny-boy

Mike McDaniel is cool in the weirdest way possible. He looks like he snuck on the team bus with a notebook and tape between his glasses, but don’t get it twisted, he’s a football guy. He allegedly wrote in his helmet in pop warner that he was going to make it, and despite his frame and athletic ability, is coaching against the best of the best in the best league in the world!

Unfortunately for him, the Bills Buzzsaw is coming to teach him his first lesson. I am truly encapsulated by the mind of Mike McDaniel and I look forward to seeing the chess game he plays with his band of merry men, but I obviously hope to see his face marred with disdain early and often.

Down Several Soldiers

The Bills are obviously down some big time soldiers. Hyde out for year hurts. Poyer with an elbow and foot, Tre coming back later, and Dane almost dying is something that could really break a defense. All 3 of the starters that were playing this season showed no stopping from their record breaking season in 2021. I’m not so worried in the Bills depth, as I truly appreciated the anticipation and feel for the game that Jaquan Johnson presented in preseason. Other in-house developed guys like Demar Hamlin and Siran Neal should also be ok, and Taron Johnson’s time to elevate to a new responsibility tier is now.

How will the Bills handle the speedy Dolphins?

Allen’s Army

I cant see the Dolphins stopping this offense too many times, if at all. I have an appreciation for Safety out of Oregon Jevon Holland, who has quickly made a name for himself at the NFL level in only his second year. CB Xavien Howard (questionable) is one of the most explosive CBs in the NFL, and has the ability to make a game-changing play at any moment. The front four is not soft, with a few veteran proven players in Christian Wilkins, Emmanuel Ogbah, Melvin Ingram. Ingram is always an issue for Buffalo, whatever team he is on.

I hope to see Gabe Davis out there and effective, because I do believe the Offense is going to need to score to win this one, and a stinker could cause an embarrassing wake up call.

My Prediction

IF the Bills O continues to take this dictating approach early and often, and sets the tone for a long day at the office for another NFL defense, they can certainly outscore Tua and the speedy Dolphins. With so much focus on Waddle and Hill, Look for Mike Gasiecki to make a few plays. Milano and Edmunds are going to be huge, and I can always count on Milano, Edmunds needs to hit someone today. Tua will be able to get the ball out early a few times, but I expect to see him limping by 3pm.

Bills score a lot, but get tired in the hot sun and Tua and the boiz make a game of it. Slippery turnovers keep it scary, but Allen and Diggs do enough to get the dub in an ugly barn burner. Tua limps to week 4. Bills 48-36
