Well, here we are. It’s an odd Saturday in America, featuring high school, NCAA and NFL football. It’s only preseason in the NFL but the air is heavy with fall flavor as Orchard Park shines for pigskin and battle. As we enter the regular season with higher expectations than possibly any Bills team in history, let’s take a quick pregame dump and get ready for the season here on #BLEUMAFIA. Remember, you can expect each week, a #HUMPDAYCHECKDOWN, #PREGAMEDUMP, and #POSTGAMEWRAPUP.

Aaron & the Boy

Rogers enters this season as a Matthew McConaughey character. Found a new Hollywood gal pal, along with a tag team couple to ride with Wedding Crashers style, playing moccison rock in Hawaii with Miles Teller and Shiane Woodley. He got his pillar to stand on, and the Packers enter 2021 with equally high expectations. Questions about Rogers remain off the field as his on field production has never wavered. Last season, a call from the sideline (not audibled or killed) by Coach Matt LeFleur cost the Packers a shot at a ring, and Rogers will have more control this season. I predict they will shine bright in majority of moments, but cower still in toughness if ANYONE lets 12 down. He must remain a mentor to youth, as he has all the talent on the field to win a Super Bowl if he can respect the youth of his Head Coach.

New Bills Rush

The Bills pass rush is scary this year. How will the motor of the 3rd preseason game look? Each QB carries a wild demeanor with a cool hand, how will it shake out if one takes a hit? Well, Allen won’t play long and Rogers won’t, but this game could get a little serious with so much coaching and player egos all over the pitch. I fully expect the Bills to come after the Packers QB’s and build a bit of blood thirst coming into the first game. I’m okay with letting AJ, Boogie, and Greg get some live action. Let them get a feel.

Safety First

Each team will hopefully come out unscathed as preseason seems less and less important each year. It’s definitely still necessary but every year I get nervous to see starters playing in a game that technically doesn’t count. Especially with so much money invested. But, I am also a believer in teams that love contact and aren’t afraid of providing it to the opponent. Friendly and competitive fire is good for teams that want to win a Super Bowl.

This game doesn’t really count, but we can predict the Bills will want to give the home crowd a good warmup so should look sharp. It won’t be long for the stars to get yanked, but should be fun.

Bills 23 Packers 16
