Well, no pod this week because as I write this, we still all attempt to survive this shitstorm. I pray that everyone out there is safe and warm and ok. Shoutout to my fiance Reylea for being such a strong force in the face of adversity and helping to keep BLEUMAFIA going today. In an attempt to keep this Saturday somewhat normal, I’m going to give you some notes and predictions on Bills @ Bears. GOBILLS.

Cold, but Clear

It’s going to be freezing, but apparently not as snowy as here in WNY. This should allow for a somewhat decent football game, but tackling will be key. If the Bills tackle soft, the Bears feature 2 RBs who can pound hole, and a borderline Skill position player playing QB. David Montgomery and Khalil Herbert are one of the best 2 man backfields in the league, despite the Bears rough record. You’ve probably seen a Justin Fields highlight run by now, but he can always break a big one.

Bad Footing

Bad footing will also play a role, from start to finish. Think about double moves, missed tackles, bad angles. Some will be better in the mud, the blood, and the guts than others. Whoever handles the elements and remains tough in the war of attrition should come out on top. I am sure the Bills are going to strongly consider running Josh Allen often, but I’m not so sure that’s a great idea. I hope to see RB Naheim Hines get some power carries.

Beasy Smoke

It’ll be interesting to see how the pass game looks in times like these weather wise. I’m going to bet that comfy targets like Cole Beasley and John Brown could prove to be sufficient in a cold game, don’t be surprised if Beasy has about 7 3 yard catches, just to keep the rhythm moving forward.

Stay Safe out there, I’ll go 23-16 Bills Go Bills #bookit
