It’s been wet and wild and windy in WNY, suprise surprise! It’ll be dry in Orchard Park THANK GOD. It’s also GAMEDAY and you know what that means… It’s time for the weekly PREGAMEDUMP. Let’s look at what the Bills need to do to keep a chance at winning the AFC East, by beating a weak NFC South opponent…

Cam Sam or PJ

Personally I’m hoping that PJ Walker gets handed the keys and gets to play the whole game. A Guy who has battled year in and year out to earn a spot, versus the other 2 options, Sam and Cam. 2 Guys who had high expectations and found themselves lost in Carolina, aside PJ, the XFL star. What a conundrum the Panthers have found themselves in, as Matt Rhule has 3 QBs, and none of which get to play with the superstar RB Christian McCaffery. They will have Chubba Hubbard, another RB who was highly touted out of Ok St. The hits will be hard in the 20-degree temps today.

Nose & Gut

The Bills team we have this year is sexy. It’s not exactly tough though. Our QB seems to be able to demonstrate the best of both worlds, with sexy play along with a toughness that seems cyboric. I’d like to see the Bills toughen up today, and find their confidence on the inside and up the gut. The Nose position has been a key factor in the success of the bend but don’t break defense, as we have failed to protect at the gap level all season long versus good backs.

When Star plays, we seem stout, but another guy I want to highlight who’s been balling is #99 Harrison Phillips. He’s a process guy who deserves high reps. Tremaine Edmunds must step up to another level if this team ever has a chance to win a Super Bowl. Hope he can do that today.

Winnable Wonders

The Bills have typically looked sharp in these games. For the most part, despite the Jaguars loss and an ugly first half on Halloween vs Miami, the team has beaten the teams it should. The Jags loss will be remembered as an embarassment forever, but if this Bills team can do what it needs to do for the remainder of the regular season, they can still win the AFC East division.

With the Patriots losing to the Colts last night, it is sure to provide a bit of extra juice for the Bills who were originally designed to defeat Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. The Colts busted through the Pats similarly as they did to Buffalo, and this week we will find out if the Bills are ready to make a run or not.

Give Me the Gabe

As I’ve mentioned, the Bills need to utilize PROCESS player Gabriel Davis. He is a huge target in 1on1’s and his size allows for Josh Allen to see him in the middle of the field. I would also like to see a mix of Stefon Diggs in the slot, where he can have a little bit more space to work, and also have 2 directions to be able to go, rather than just 1 and the tight sideline. With Davis and Diggs, along with Beasy and Knox, the offense has yet to be stopped for 2 years. I’m all set on Sanders for now. He is a gadget. This offense broke records last year.

Final Prediction.

We’ve seen this game before. The Bills know what they need to do. It’s not a beautiful September day in WNY, it’s cold dark and almost Christmas. This is why you win the Steelers game in the sun. This is why you win the Jags game in their house with a killer instinct. Now you have to turn it up a notch and earn respect back around the NFL.

I have Josh going off in the first half with a familiar rhythm, and our defense showing why people said Super Bowl in September. The Panthers will fight for life, but eventually get embarrassed by a drunken crowd. PJ Sam & Cam break a record for most turnovers by a 3 headed QB in NFL history.

29-6 Bills
