The Bills almost took down the Bucs and the refs, but would come up just short to a no name WR in true Brady-esque fashion. We’ll break down what happened and why it’s an arrow up game overall, so long as Josh’s ankie is ok.

Here’s my #POSTGAMEWRAPUP

RESPECK

The one thing I did hope for the Bills to find in this game was Respect. Self respect, and respect for the game of football. All year the Bills have fallen short, but in a way that seemed almost limp. Like they should have won. Today they maybe should have won, but it was in the way we all like to see. They sold out. They left it all out on the field. Both sides of the ball didn’t quit and the coaching staff made adjustments. It may be 7-6 now, but we have the Panthers next, and then the Pats again.

Tommy Boi

He may have ended us again, but in the end we almost had his ass. Once again Tom Brady as we know is the master of the QB postition. He also is the master of the finishing drive. Especially when you give him time. The Bills were able to get to him a few times, including Matt Milano on a huge sack in crunch time. He was able to finish it off in a one on one with a no name WR like he always does, as the Bills came up just short to a guy with fresh legs.

Beasy Does It Gaby

Who was it that showed up time and time again? Cole Beasley and Gabe Davis are the Heart and Soul of this Team. Diggs and Allen are the key members of the band, but it is Beasley and Gabe that make the combination of sound so unique. The big size of Gabe in one matchup, along with the tiny speed and toughness of Beasy in another matchup offers an auto-picker on any crucial passing dahn. Sanders was apparently injured in the game.

I’m okay with what we saw. Gabe, Beasy, Diggs, Knox and even Isiah or Kumerow need to play all day long. Gabe was huge. Stood up in the moment, AGAIN.

Defense came to life.

It may have been a bit of complacency by the Bucs, but the Bills defense did show up in the second half. We know the Bills were able to score 27 unanswered in the 2nd half, but he defense held the Bucs to 3 points in the 2nd until OT. They hit, and wrapped. Shoutout Dane Jackson who battled all night long and got several plays called against him that were not penalties.

2 No calls on Diggs were obviously huge no calls. The final call in OT for the Bucs was bad. Can’t blame the refs but… crucial to outcome..

Allen once again proved he was a warrior. Hopefully his ankle is okay as he certainly will be sore after this one. He definitely gave a Super Bowl caliber effort tonight, and so did the Buffalo Bills.

GoBills.
