What do you do when you’ve sealed the division and have one home game left? The answer is almost always rest, but when you throw in the fact you can send a cagey division rival home until the 2021 preseason, things get complicated.

This season has been complicated for just about every team, but the focus and mindset of this Buffalo team has been unmatched. With only one game left in the regular season, here’s our last pregame dump leading into the YOFFS.

Fitz-Not Happenin’
I’m not going to lie, when I heard Fitzy wasn’t playing I was honestly disappointed. He deserved every part of this game. And so did Bills fans. I can’t help but bring up the moment where Fitz stole the show and out-smarted the clock and the Patriots at home. I was looking forward to one last duel for the genius. One last test for the Bills.

Ryan Fitzpatrick’s storied career was off to a movie-script start, and it’s been that way all year, sorta.

Tua Time (Taylor?)
The movie went from comedy to drama, and back to comedy as Tua Tugavailoa was thrust into the plot line. Tua really has everything you want as a QB above the shoulders, and no one has really been able to say a bad word about him. The Dolphins have kept the fans feeling entertained all the way through.

The way people talk about Tua you’d think he’s the next Drew Brees, but I see him as more of a Tyrod.

It’s to a point in the script though, where the Ben Stiller Dramedy movie takes that one serious turn, and the lesson gets learned. Everyone goes home happy.

The only problem is–Tua won’t have the former Bills QB to save him this week, and I don’t see it ending well for him.

Will he learn his lesson? Or be taught one? One thing’s for certain…It’ll be fuckin’ chilly.

Protect This House
Ask any former player… the love for the game never goes away. If I am a part of this team, I want to win, and want to make a statement. It’s difficult to turn off the passion, especially when everything is going so well. If you can send the Dolphins home limping for the year, and take the momentum into next week, you’re better off.

The Bills, if they do anything the way we’ve seen so far, should take this game very seriously.

I expect them to treat this game as a walk through live rep – playoff game. Treat it as a “win or go home” mentally, so that next week there are no new feelings and no new fears.

Next week, no matter who the Bills play, they will need to be themselves. We have found out who they are. We’ve found out who they can be as a team.

Now it’s time to start finding out who they will be remembered as.

Do The Bills want to be remembered as the team that brought the playoffs back to Buffalo?
Do we want to be remembered as the team that won a* playoff game?
Had 6700 fans?
Won the Division?
Or do we want to be remembered as the team that won the f**king Super Bowl?

“This (AFC East champions) hat is fine and dandy,” Allen said. “This hat and shirt is fine and dandy. But I want the shirt that says fu**ing Super Bowl champs.”
– Josh Allen

Bills take Tua to task. No mercy. Finish nasty. Protect the QB. QB Protect Team. Be the writer of the story not the reader.
