Buffalo fans were stammering early as their buzz wore off quickly in the rain, but once Josh Allen and the Bills put their panchos on they proved they were the head haunchos. The Bills beat down on the Texans all day long, in an ugly one in Orchard Park. Let’s look it over in the #POSTGAMEWRAPUP.
Spilled Milk
Don’t cry over spilled milk, or in my case, a full large coffee. I had a misstep in the first half, much like Josh Allen when i fumbled the full coffee onto the rug below in an effort to toss a long ball toy throw to my fat cat. We all recovered as my team and Josh’s were able to get their footing and finish strong and nasty. The Bills were able to prove they can line up under center and get dirty, and after the initial INT, Josh actually threw a slick ball pretty well, including a very Josh-lisberger type pump-and dump to TE Dawson Knox. Knox had himself a day featuring 2 scores, probably his best as a Bill. Check Out Knox Sox- His new venture.
Mills Lane was Closed
Davis Mills career probably ended today.
Bills Defense Stout
The Bills were sure to be good today with minimal weaponry on the opposing sideline, but they were simply stout today. Tremaine Edmunds was tight and reserves AJ Klein and Tyler Matakevich were both bright in their debut. Hopefully Matt Milano isn’t banged up too badly and his return is soon, and free of pain. Most of the day featured a Bills team smiling and having fun, and we didn’t see much negativity all day long.
NEXT…
The Bills next game will be in front of all of America on the bright lights of Sunday night Football. Josh Allen and the Bois will be back up against their ultimate kryptonite, Patrick Mahomes and the KC Chiefs. The Chiefs resumed their fast track to the finals with a dirty romp of the Eagles, who were able to score even at the last second to try and make it look close. The Chiefs had their way with the Eagles, and Tyreek Hill was able to skoot about the field to over 189 yards and multiple big plays. The Bills will return to Arrowhead for the first time since getting similarly worked by Hill and Mahomes, and we shall see what this new look defense is really made of. Not a great time for Milano to have a soft tissue injury, but again, hopefully he will be back, as we will need every man up.
Stay tuned to Wednesday’s #HUMPDAYCHECKDOWN, where I’ll break down the Chiefs and what you can look out for on Sunday evenin!
GOBILLS!
