The Bufalo Bills overcame a literal act of God in the form of an hour and 14 minute halftime, along with Cris Collinsworth really wanting the Chiefs to pull through. The Bills not only won the game, but brutally dismantled every piece of the Chiefs attack. The defense was absolutely bloodthirsty, gangtackling on each and every opportunity. They left a mark on Kansas City, and the Chiefs are limping away with a few less men. Let’s do a quick breakdown in the #postgamewrapup.

Brute Force

The Bills D held the heralded Chiefs offense to only 2 Touchdowns, and only 1 was legal. Travis Kelce wasn’t set on their little push pass touchdown, and the other touchdown came on one of their little gadget plays. T

he Bills controlled the line of scrimmage and took out 2 weapons in Clyde Edward Helaire and Travis Kelce. The game got close in a few moments, but every chance that KC had was met with a freshly rotated pass rush as the recipe that Tampa used on KC in the Super Bowl worked out well for Buffalo.

Conquered Hill

This was a big test for Buffalo, but they passed with flying colors. Josh Allen had one of the best drives of his career in the heat of the moment, and his toughness was tested throughout. He was able to keep his cool and hit his mark when it counted, and didn’t need to complete too many balls to win the game. He may have crossed a new frontier in terms of confience with this notch on his belt. Taking out a killer like Mahomes with a gang of defenders like Buffalo has should strike fear in any opponent on the Bills schedule.

I’m going to be honest.. Josh Allen is the best drug on the market. He put the world on his shoulders and shined bright. The world is his for now, but he will continue to need to lead his men in the final stanza. He did a good job of protecting himself and the ball tonight. Overall the Bills played together with a reckless abandon, a physical nature you don’t really see often on both sides of the ball. It’s Super Bowl caliber if you ask me.

Next comes a physical test with King Henry and the Titans in the place of the Music City Micacle.. Follow @jer7rej on twitter and stay tuned Wednesday for the #humpdaycheckdown where I’ll preview the Titans! GOBILLS!
